But in the BSNL website it was shown that the plan started early in the january2009:confused:.Actally what happened to that plan. How long should I wait?:wall:?Please give me the answer.

Thanks for the replay
i will call the BB coordinator about this the very next working hour.

i think i am charged with rural telephone tariffs as my call rate was 0.80 Rs/min (old rate before slashing , i don't know what it is right now). i have an existing bsnl broadband connection.
is this plan about rural exchange or rural village??
This is from BSNL website
"BSNL has introduce new Rural Broadband under the USOF scheme for provision of broadband connectivity in rural and remote areas with no registration Security deposit and installation fees."---- i think 'rural area' means rural village.

i googled in net for the rural users but ,returned nothing other than the news "bsnl has introduced new rural plan --blah blah". Is there anybody having this plan ??in the bsnl online registration site also ,there is no rural plan drop box.

Only FIRST 31 get it ! out of this 7 reserved for educational institutions etc.

Probably BSNL don't expect more than 31 BB users in a village!the whole population can be covered !This scheme is from the surcharge levied on ISP's to extend BB to rural areas. Some one in Punjab ( I think @harminder ) got the connection. will check up later.

I am using usof 150 plan from march. You are right eesbebe 31 connections covered whole population in a village.

@harpindersorry. From memory I mentioned your name as Harminder. Thanks for the feedback.
