At that price point, it is the best phone available. As regards the warranty, since they dont launch in India we wont have warranty. Whether they are launching GNEX officially in India is still not confirmed. If you buy from singapore, you get the bill but no warranty. That would not make much difference unless you make frequent trips to SG.

I am looking for some phone for long talks. Since it is a primary phone, prefer having WiFi access with Facebook and Twitter support. FM radio is must. This will be my primary phone, I already have Galaxy Tab for browsing and apps

WP7 does not have much support and will be outdated in a month or so (after launch of Windows 8)Wanted Nokia Asha 311 since it satisfies all the conditions and cheap but Nexus is a great deal and will have pure android but again availability is a big question mark

Alright so I have pretty much made up my mind that I'm getting the Galaxy Nexus. Can't find it officially yet so getting one without bill for Rs. 21,500. Hopefully I'll be able to bargain when I go to the shop.Anyway, one thing which is stopping me from purchasing it is the upgrade to Jelly Bean. One of my friends told me that models in India aren't getting upgraded to Jelly Bean by the conventional process and it's very tedious to do it otherwise. Is that true?@Sushubh: You have upgraded your Nexus to Jelly Bean, haven't you? Please share your experience. Thanks. :)

Rs. 21500 is a real good price if you are getting it. i do not see how it can go any lower! usd 350 (american price) is Rs. 19386 and this does not include taxes. with taxes, it would probably be higher than what you are getting it for.i have no idea who told you that the indian model is not getting JB. all the people on this forum with Galaxy nexus have received the JB update automatically. including me.
