well the problem is that installation is not easy if you have not done it before and are not very careful with it. i ruined my first installation. so it is a very expensive experiment. no amount of video watching would make it easy for you to install it. as simple as that :Din my opinion, if you do not want to get your hands dirty, just get a cheapo one installed from the local store. i found a store that does proper installation here in gurgaon. it took the person a minute to install a skin that would take me 10 minutes to get right :D and get it replaced when it messes up. over a longer period of ownership, you still spend less!
 
I was thinking the same. It's very hard to do these screen guard installations. I mean even if there is one tiny dust particle left on screen before applying then it might end up in an air bubble. And it require steady hands to do it. And I don't understand the concept of having the full body screen guard. I mean the back cover of the device is fairly strong flexible plastic. It's not that much prone to the scratches. I am more worried about front screen as my dad has the tendency to keep the phone & car keys in one same pocket. I agree it's better to get a cheap one installed from local brick & mortar store.
 
Amzer cases are mostly budget segment decent quality stuff. Am using their basic case right now. Works for me.

Is the basic one available on Flipkart?
And what about the screen guard I'm thinking, is that good? The reviews on Flipkart consist mixed reactions.
 
Okay. I will ask for both sides screen guard. Though I don't think the local retailer will have the protector for back side also.
 
As this is my first Android, this may be a silly doubt but it's bugging me a lot. All of my picasa snaps are synced with the Gallery app, and I can view them even when I'm not connected to the internet, so where exactly are they stored? They are not occupying space in my phone either. So how am I able to acess them even when I'm offline. And how much data is consumed in the sync approximately. I have like 8-9 albums in Picasa (75+ images in each album) but they became visible in my Gallery pretty quickly.
