Thanks guys. I was about to install dr ketan's rom this weekend. Please can someone be unbiased and let me know which is the best stable rom with no wifi issues and network issues. I am confused between dr ketan, dn3, hurricane and tiagra... Please advice. It will be really helpful since i needed those air command and other note 3 apps on my GT N7100. Also to let you know that it is just 1 month old so I am afraid to root as well.

all the people who hate samsung and its TW interface , must use custom roms to know what a piece of gem (generally) stock roms are .
i used to read comments from people after using custom roms , that yeah, this is what a rom should be like , samsung should hire custom rom people , samsung software engneers are this and that , custom rom rock this and that .
i tell you what 99% of custom roms are shit ,if you talk about stability or anything , there are a dozens of problems in each and every custom rom , and hats off to samsung and other stock rom makers that they pull it off with minimal problems , yeah they are not as fancy as custom roms but i guarantee , if Samsung hired those customs rom builders , Samsung is screwed

i have made it a habit of taking photos of important (or otherwise) documents"s instead of getting it photostatted , but there is a weird shit happens all the time , the flash of the camera makes it dull , the photo is taken with least light exposure , infact when i take photo without flash , its mostly better then with flash.
obviously these are documents and i need complete pic, so distance is mostly upto 1 feet or a bit more from camera of phone , is that the reason ?

LMAO, you do know that it is Samsung's fault that custom roms are less stable? No source code, bad documentation, proved on xda by elite recognized developers that they copy/paste sh*t from gingerbread which makes it even more garbage to develop on. Look at older nexus devices how they are running kitkat BETTER than previous android versions without Google releasing any updates. Samsung wants you to use their store,music and video services, more money for them. They want to make more money and hence they are not releasing source code. Some sh*t that they released is useless, old and unorganized = garbage. Wonders can happen...every device can be updated to kitkat the first day...MUCH more stable and MUCH more battery efficient. #blamesamsung

IIRC, Samsung actually hired the guy who created Cyanogenmod, so....

IIRC, Samsung actually hired the guy who created Cyanogenmod, so....

one custom guy with the samsung own team can wonders , his ideas and a lot of knowledge will be good , but only people who work on custom roms , full team with only these people , i doubt they can do wonders . not saying that with time and resources these guys cannot learn , but i hate it when people talk shit about stock rom guys and tell them what they should do and all.
they do whats told to them and within a set parameters with a very aggressive target of stability and usability in mind , they are not stupids , they are bound by samsung or whatever companies decision , its not there fault what samsung wants from them , but they are hated like its their fault

Galaxy S source code is available because nexus S has the same hardware. IDK if the camera problem is because of custom rom or a problem in the phone itself.
Main reason because Samsung doesn't release source code is because if old devices get updated to latest version of android then why would a customer buy their newer device every year or two

They are hated because of their hard coding, copy/pasting. Whenever new android version is released, they should start from scratch rather than copy/pasting and modifying.
