In Note 3, the S-Pen related apps are really useful and cool. Yes, they done some sincere efforts on making that work.
But, unlike my previous
Galaxy S2, the Note 3 N900 gives lot of issues. It is just 3 months old.
1) Few weeks back I found the phone took >15hours for full charge. Found that the issue was with the micro USB 3.0 cable supplied. Yet to get an replacement cable. I use a regular USB 2.0 cable for charging. Suddenly I am finding the that also taking more time to charge sometimes. I dread going to the service center when this problem is not consistent.
2) With
Android 4.3 stock image the performance was good and there were not noticeable lags in UI(except when we install apps - there is fraction second UI lag when the installation finalizes - probably when it does the final IO cleanup). After the 4.4.2, fining the phone lagging for no reasons at all. behaves as it the CPU is clocked @600MHz in a single Core. Thsi comes and goes
3) With 4.4.2 update, the external
SD card has problem writing to it using apps like ES File-explorer. Looks like it is due the android changes by
Google in Kitkat

Very annoying. Looks like there is solution only by rooting. I don't want to do that yet and lose warranty by tripping Knox(when I have other problems)
4) Regular annoyances like- Google plus has unfortunately stopped. When it says
com.sec.**.SView cover has stopped and there is no way to fix that without rebooting. I have done that at least 3 times after the Kitkat upgrade.
I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone .
