Why do people buy Samshit Note 3 when they can get 32 gb variant of LG G2 for much lower price with higher sepcs?
Starting from Note 3, we can choose either warranty or custom rom but not both. Sucks hard.
I myself glad that I went with LG.

I have purchased Note 3 few days ago. It's seal packed, brand new with genuine warrenty. ( Bought from Relaince Digital.)
I want to sell it for Rs. 44,000/-
IF any one wants to buy please pm me. ( I am sorry if I am breakig any forum rule by posting this post, then please delete it.)

Does G2 have S-Pen and the associated software - S-Note,Action Memo,Sketchbook?
These software with s-pen is very good. This is the differentiating factor. You have to try it.
Surely the pricing is very high, but that doesn't mean Note 3 is not better in some aspects.
BTW, what do you mean by higher specs? CPU ?? What about RAM?

What about the aesthetics. I hate the volume rocker at the back in G2 :)

In Note 3, the S-Pen related apps are really useful and cool. Yes, they done some sincere efforts on making that work.
But, unlike my previous Galaxy S2, the Note 3 N900 gives lot of issues. It is just 3 months old.
1) Few weeks back I found the phone took >15hours for full charge. Found that the issue was with the micro USB 3.0 cable supplied. Yet to get an replacement cable. I use a regular USB 2.0 cable for charging. Suddenly I am finding the that also taking more time to charge sometimes. I dread going to the service center when this problem is not consistent.
2) With Android 4.3 stock image the performance was good and there were not noticeable lags in UI(except when we install apps - there is fraction second UI lag when the installation finalizes - probably when it does the final IO cleanup). After the 4.4.2, fining the phone lagging for no reasons at all. behaves as it the CPU is clocked @600MHz in a single Core. Thsi comes and goes
3) With 4.4.2 update, the external SD card has problem writing to it using apps like ES File-explorer. Looks like it is due the android changes by Google in Kitkat

Very annoying. Looks like there is solution only by rooting. I don't want to do that yet and lose warranty by tripping Knox(when I have other problems)
4) Regular annoyances like- Google plus has unfortunately stopped. When it says com.sec.**.SView cover has stopped and there is no way to fix that without rebooting. I have done that at least 3 times after the Kitkat upgrade.
I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone .

Finally went to Samsung service center for mobile phones in Anna Nagar, Chennai.
Same queue for 1000Rs to 50000 rs phone :-P
They got the phone & charger & I waited for about 45 minutes. After that they called me & informed both the Micro usb 3.0 cable as well as the phone port needs to be replaced. But, they didn't have the spares and asked me come after a week after confirming with them.

This service center is in prominent location & note 3 is their costly phone yet. But they dont have spares for components which is more prone to failures.

I have to wait.

First time visiting Samsung service center. Is this what we could expect from them?

They didn't have spare micro usb 3.0 cable. Also problem is in the phone's charging port as well. I use another regular usb 2.0 cable(that came with Galaxy s2). But, it takes about 12 hours to charge from 10% to 100%
