again. samsung has so many models out there that i doubt they care if each of the models sell well in the market. they have have some major hits and a couple of specialized devices that might not sell well but give them tons of experience for future products. few other companies can afford it today.

pricing could be around USD 1000. just a rumor right now.

good indication that this is not for consumers. samsung is doing it right by positioning it at prosumers.

too bad they would be criticized for the pricing.

nope. this is an entirely new segment. it is a mini tablet that can also work as a smartphone. the next nexus would probably be similar to this model but with a smaller display (4.5 inches is what the reports suggest). and knowing google, it should be priced at similar levels 570 dollars in USA for the unlocked version. this was what they charged for nexus one and nexus s and i doubt they would charge higher for nexus prime.

I wud think of spending 1000$ after a fone, only after 10-15 years, going by the current trend. Or may be if Dollar falls below 35/33!!!

you would considered spending 1000 dollars on a phone if you can find lucrative ways to use it in ways that saves you a lot more in a short period of time.

But then, why wudnt i spend it on a Lappie. I mean 1000$ wud give me a decent enuf piece, which a Rs.28-29k wont give!
