i do not plan to use it to edit documents. i do not want it as a replacement for my primary computer. it is a phone for me. i also use my current smartphone for email, twitter, google plus, photo taking and sharing and other stuff. i do not even use it as a music or movie player. at home, i have a decent set of speakers. in my car, i have a decent stereo system.

aaaahhhh, what about that One time when you are lying on bed and suddenly have urget to see that one scene is movie or listen to that soothing song by enya ? or you are being driven in a car and you have nothing to do for one hour , so why not start work early ??? Ehhhh ?

@jaymin... Probabble date is november mid or devember end ... and this thing was announced in AUgust so si guess its Indefinite....
But I know for sure that the day i rbing home a Note, next day samsung will have release date for New tabs ..... kinda like what happened with u ..

And so, now, if Samsung really wants to sell 1,00,000 pieces by next year end, then they shud offer schemes wherein they exchange the "Recently Bought" Galaxy S2 for Note.....may be for a cost to cost difference.......i guess it shud be 4-5k? @ ur Dilemma.....Well i can imagine how tough it is! If u REALLY NEED A NEW PHONE, AND IF u promise in not blaming me, then i wud suggest that u take the plunge. Coz i gave priority to my need. My phone was going down fast. Its misbehaving now. I got the new phone at the right time.

@jaymin, I kinda need it not need it... well kinda need it howeer I checked yesterday Samsung note is STILL not in market surprising really ? I think they got some problem with Local cable operators oooppps wait no thats Hayai. but yah they are still not here.. are they in shop where you live ?

It's not by next yr end. The target is this yr end!!!! LOL, they aim to sell 1 lac devices priced at rs 35 k approx in next 50 days. Even iPhone has not achieved that kinda target in india.

well someone who was at that event said that the statement was probably misrepresented in the media. he said that the company was probably stating that the first 1L units would be sold with free accessories. since i was not at the event i cannot really say what is true.
