I am not so sure about Moto X and Moto G. Build quality is said to be good but not typical Motorola. Motorola Droid range on the other hand has Kevlar stuff which probably improves the quality a lot but sadly no GSM editions available of that series.

Well. She is comparing a 3.5 inch device with a 5 inch device... I am sure 3.5 inch cheapo Samsungs would survive a lot of falls too :I mean she wants to upgrade to a new iPhone... I guess she would have better luck getting the 4 or 4s instead of 5 or 5c or 5s... Man Apple has so many models these days. :

same, my s3 is still on 4.1.2

I just received a 13MB update a few days back ...still on 4.1.2....
As per web reports it is preparatory update for the mail update which is >800MB in size.
Please update if anyone has received the mail update...

I know. Such a shame when the competitors like Samsung can barely release 1 phone model per year

It's surprising that Samsung has been quite quiet lately. Otherwise they are used to launching like 5 new models every month. I have not seen any new device from them except for the rumors of S Duos 2?
