My friend has two S3 and both of them when put in a phone case loose reception. Anyone here facing similar issues?
 
This is a serious flaw from Samsung It shouldn't happen in high class devices like SIII. People will be more worried once warranty period is over, and that will/may affect the sales of upcoming models.

It should not happen to any handset no matter what............ They don't make handsets to fail like this.

Aap to mere pichhe pad gaye..what i meant to say is you cant expect same quality testing/manufacturing in 900rs models, but S3 cost more than a laptop and it should go through strict QC guidelines. Flaws in high end devices ruins the market more than cheaper ones. Bass itna hi kahna tha maai baap! :p

Bro i have no intention to interfere every thing you say to brought you down...... Believe me.......... All I am stating is based on my experiences........... Not that I am always right but sometimes i am :p

Example time

I once went to pizza Hut and ordered rs 99 pp meal as we were not that hungry....... And we were looked upon like we did a crime of ordering a cheap meal............... Normally pizza Hut costs 1000 rs a visit, that day 400-500.......... Waiter was not courteous at all. Why the **** keep it in the menu if you don't like ppl to order it :mad:

2nd

Went to a super hifi ladies suit showroom with wife......... We saw some expensive suits then told them our budget........... Again those derogatory behavior with us like we were demanding something for free, not that the store didn't had our budget suits......... They had plenty and sell them as well in quantity......... Why the **** make faces to a person who has budget constraints.......... In spite of them having those range suits in plenty.

In the same manner........... If you make all kinds of handset then you cannot /shouldn't........... Categorize its quality........... No handset should die just like that, when a customer buy a handset from Samsung cafe, he should not be looked bad upon neither in cafe nor at factory level ,and certainly not at management level:thumbdown:
 
^ watever it is its our hard earned money less or more .havent heard such bad story on samsung devices till , will be interesting how it will turn out bit scary to think that my note's warranty is over !!
 
@toocool ..you getting me all wrong bro.. Your example is not relevant to what I am saying.. Whatever you said is example of poor customer handling by individuals.What I am saying is its quality measures and material used in process of manufacturing anything be it mobile, cars, garments etc decides the cost of the product and that product should justify the cost. We can not expect 20rs/mtr clothes will give us feeling of top class garment and will last as long. @mediafire..absolutely but expect the product according to the paid price. Every paisa is hard earned by common man that doesn't mean that you can ask for equal quality between low and high price products. Am I saying non-sense?
 
@icon.......big companies are like governments specially like scamgress govt , they don't give u things which u deserve , my examples are all related to what u were saying just that they are not that obvious to you ................everything is related to money you see .u give 3000 rs u get a different treatment but if u give 30000 rs u get an elite treatment .i am not talking about features in phones and their difference siii or samsung guru , i am talking about longevity of the product , sure u cant expect samething when u have not spent equal money on both but i am talking about ur point that "an s3 should not die just like that specially because its an expensive handset " ...................which translates to it would be ok if a guru phone dies just like that .equal features hell no we cant expect but a respectable quality even from a low end handset is what is expected , and if u would not expect that from the company , why would they give it to you????just like things you dont expect from a govt, u will never get..............or just like a baniye ki dukaan

Exactly...that is called service...and one has to pay for it...we cant travel in business class by paying for economy. Right?

No I didn't say that if guru set die is ok for me...its entirely your assumption/translation of my statement, it was general thinking that one can not expect this sort of defect in high end devices...low end devices may have defects because they dont follow strict quality checking because it increases manufacturing cost, but again that doesn't mean that low end devices should come with defects..not at all. By saying "Expensive devices should not have defects" doesn't mean or support in anyway for "Defects in low end devices is acceptable"!

the kind of thinking is poured in our mind by the companies itself because they want to us to be delusional by saying that high end service/ hardware is flawless and things cannot go wrong in that is also absurd.............things should not go wrong ideally , but things will go wrong in those devices somewhere, for sure even in warranty period , its bound to happen , sets will even after all kind of quality precautions will see all kinds of faults .............no matter what.

you specifically said ,....bacause its a high end device it should not happen with that ........... didn't you?? which creates a divide/treatment of management toward consumer based on the amount of money spent

that will automatically translates to low end might face issues like that and would be justifiable since they cannot be better quality checked compared to high end

i would say who the **** says to a company .................to sell the device as cheap as possible???

bring devices with strict quality check and dont sell cheap beyond a point ......................if u cant keep quality check for 900 rs phone go to hell and dont make it.

make 5000 rs phone i which u have done enough quality check to say ............ok this wont just be defective just like that .

eventually all kind of phones will fail .............even on day one there will be an issue in them , iPhone 5 is known as highest degree quality checks??? it fails too terribly .

even phones like vertu with tag of 3-6 lac will have instances of being defective on day 1.
