Yeah the least exciting smartphones of the world have always been more costly then the competition. I wonder what's wrong with BlackBerry these days. If Cupertino company takes Apple tax for their iDevices then it's understandable. But BlackBerry? Really?
I imagine if there would be a satta market regarding the launch prices of these flagship devices. :D

I am not sure how you can expect Blackberry Z10 or Q10 to be cheaper devices. They are not exactly budget devices. They have top of the line hardware with solid build quality. And they do not have the advantage of volumes and of course they do not manufacture 80% of the hardware (like Samsung).

It is launching in South Korea and India tomorrow. Maybe more countries. I wonder how long before it actually goes on sale in India. HTC has f**ked up One launch big time.
It will go on sale from tomorrow by estore acc. to samsung estore's s4 registration page. Also will be available from reliance digital stores from april 27.

I am not saying that BB should price their flagship like Google does with Nexus devices. But they are confronting tremendous amount of losses, they should at least keep the price in line with Android offering. They should even try to keep the price 1-2k less than Android flagships by cutting their thick margins.
They need to get back in the game. And fast. I was genuinely excited for Playbook with it's unique features. I studied embedded systems extensively in my college time. And QNX was primarily developed for ES. So I knew that technology from grounds up. But BB fell short in tablet region where some primary features were missing from the tablet of the promising real time ecosystem.

The Note II was launched at 39,990 and was available for ~32k on special deals about 2-3 months later. Expect the same with this.

Data and Voice Offers:
Samsung has partnered with Vodafone to provide data and voice offers with every purchase of Galaxy S 4. Vodafone will be providing a special ‘all-in-one’ tariff plan for pre-paid and post-paid Galaxy S4 customers. In this plan, customers will get unlimited Internet (with FUP), up to 3000 local and STD voice minutes and up to 750 local and national SMS.
Content Offers:
Samsung is also providing INR 12,000 worth content free with the smartphone, similar to Galaxy Grand. The content will most probably be available via Myservices, but we are trying to get a confirmation and will add more soon.

Free music, movies, games and apps I guess worth 12k? Or any accessories too?
