Its a bit restrictive, and some options are friendlier as compared to say Android, and some others not so, and some options dont exist. But yes, for someone who is relatively a newbie to technology, idevice have a better feel good factor.I have used ipad 2 for a brief while & a bit of iPhone 3gs & 4s. so, unless they changed a lot drastically, then yeah most things are straightforward
