I guess most of them decided to not come back after lunch. I am still amazed that 24 MPs actually yeyed considering how big of a taboo this topic is in India.
I am trying to find out attendance records for lok sabha and minimum presence required not able to , but in the above case it was not even 20% which seems quite bad when a bill is being voted.
They postponed voting on transgender rights to budget session (whatever that means). I guess the general feeling was to get this one over with as soon as possible. Looking at the average age and general mentality of our parliamentarians, the session would have been fun to see them discuss gay sex. :banghead:
