He is not Afridi, and BCCI is not PCB. If they wanted him to play, he could have got chance in last 2 years.
 
Sehwag will be missed. His attitude of being positive is one of a kind. But its the right time to retire.
 
They could not find a place for him with the talented rohit sharma around.

Yup. Rohit can bat one century per year and give his spot for the next 20 games to sehwag and then come back again ..hit another ton and repeat the process.
 
I think Sehwag also given enough chances for 2yrs or so but he failed.

While Rohit will be always there in team - like he has always been!

I was just giving idea! That this is how one can play that tournament which has rule that you have to be retired!

Ofcourse his chances is coming back in India are almost NIL.
 
And he hits century in Ranji against Karnataka!

Cricinfo does not have show first class records? (I could not locate)

When did he last hit century in first class match?
 
I think you need to go to each tournament & search - They dont have a player driven search in First Class..
