Maybe this will help Socrates?s experience: Sharing files/folders across machines thru Linksys WRT54G.

I am currently on bridge mode using windows vista and DSL-502T modem now i want the default settings but i am unable to as 192.168.1.1 is not working for me in the browser i mean i not able to go to the modem settings

you may not be getting an ip on your pc. try static ip.. go to control panel->network connections->right click on local area connection and click on properties. there under tcp/ipv4 properties.. enter ip as 192.168.1.10 and gateway as 192.168.1.1 .. now try accessing 192.168.1.1
