Shocking News - Bangalore dealers ignore SUN DIRECT

After many discussion with the SUN DIRECT subscriber here and the comments from everyone., i have decided to go for SUN DIRECT:thumbsup:. Another reason it is going to add the STAR/Sony/ZEE & Sports packages very soon. So my wish will fulfill to get the SUN DIRECT DTH like other DTH services.I was very glad to know this news from CC. From Morning i have made some 10 calls to know about the dealer address, area. I have got enough information from CC and started roaming to find the shops to book SUN DIRECT.But to be a sad story., no dealer provided by CC are willing to book the connection. They promote only TS/DISH and they are ignoring the SUN DIRECT. I called up to the Main dealer who takes care of Bangalore South Agents. He has advised few more address and said they have the stock. So you can get it installed by tomorrow itself.I visited them too. But they are not willing to book sun direct connection. They said they have the stock. But they are not getting the re-charge card regularly which affects our shop brand name too. Also they said it is a flop-service so we do not want to support. Another agents/dealers are located far and they are not wiling to come and install. And they said it will take 25 days to come and install. :wall:I called up to the CC and said my experience happened with the Agents/Dealer. They are unable to answer. So they said some one from higher authority will call back to me to address.I am very sad that, though they have the stock they are just ignoring the SUN DIRECT because of the pathetic service they provide.I dont know how to get the connection which suits my needs. Can anybody help/suggest me to get the connection. It would be great.Thanks
 
Hi bgltv,The dealer near my office also ignored to give SUN Direct & he told me better you go for Tata Sky.Next day i went to S.P.Road, Bangalore and brought the activation voucher of Sun Direct from one of the shops. Sun Direct people came and fitted within 2 days. If you want the dealer phone number i can give you.Regards,
 
I too faced a similar problem that too in chennai. I asked cc and also saw website and got some dealers address and when contacted them they said they stopped sun dth. I wasted nearly 2 weeks for that and saw many dealers. I was really frustrated. But very luckily i saw one dealer in royapetah and finally after 2 weeks struggle today i got my booking. I may get the connection within 3 days. But the fact is that the address in website and given by cc are total waste. All are saying that they have stopped sun dth. But i dont know why.
 
Seeing the comments, i really worried about the future of SUNDIRECT. If they close the service where would we go? I am satisfied with what i am paying to hathway now in terms of subscription charge. The only reason to change SUN DTH is because of the quality they provide. Also i am not sure how far hathway will give the good service as the customer care and Service in nobody other than my local cable wala.I had a dream i will SUN DTH at my home in few days. But seeing the comments here i dont i can book SUN DTH in bangalore as it is really not that much popular and getting response like TS/DISH
 
This is really shocking, SUN Direct people should do something.My question is: is it because of cauvery? If it is so thats very bad.
 
not sure.., but one dealer said all because of the poor service. They are not getting the re-charge coupon on time from the main dealers. Main dealers not getting the re-charge vouchers from SUN DIRECT. So they are unable to answer to the customer queries whom they want to recharge.Even customercare acts like that. So SUN DIRECT should improve the service. Otherwise they cant survive in DTH market. Tata Sky/Dish/Big are waiting for a chance. And they are the people who agaist at SUN DIRECT.If the service goes like that., they will make use of it and they will come up with good plans. As we are not going to pay anything for DISH ANTENNA and STB it is easy for us to switch to another operator too..So SUN DIRECT., can you please open your eye and see the outside world???
 
Don't bring cauvery or hoganikal issue here, it is purely because of poor service from SUN DTH. I am from B'lore and have SUN DTH, I want SUN to grow faster than TS & DishTV throughout the country. SUN DTH should concentrate on customer care service and easy availability of recharge vouchers.
