Thanks Arun.. You mean about the SPORTS/Sony/STAR Packages??? Yes, i did ask.. He said the expected time is this Month end. Also SUN is trying to add the channels before the cricket match.. But with no guarantee as he said.,"subject to change without notification at last minute" by SUN NETWORK.
 
Hi bgltv, we both had a lot of struggle for finding dealer and booking. Finally we got our dth successfully. I got on 4th and you got on 5th april. Experiencing dth is wonderful. Cheers. Did you logged in sun direct website and have you tried to change the password?
 
Hey dude ., not yet.I am yet to come out from the wonder i got with SUN DTH.. i am just going the user manual and checking and doing something with STB all those things.. Tomorrow i need to see weather my tamil package is getting activated or not?? I need to then try with logging into website all those things....

how is the picture quality
 
Awesome picture quality. I compared with my local cable, there is not even a single fine dots in dth. But when i compared i found a 5 sec delay in sun dth than cable in all channel telecast.
 
It is excellent.I have a Hathway digital cable connection too. The picture quality of my digital set-top and so great and it is pixalated in many channels.I was think Hathway provides a good pic quality.. but when i compare with DTH., YES CAS/CABLE TV is not upto the mark. You will find it better than normal cable TV but not like DTH. I could able to feel a big difference between CAS/CABLE and DTH now.

pl dont compare with cable .... hav u seen ts & dish tv , compare wit it
 
YES.. I compared when i decided to go for SUN DIRECT. I was in the shop with TS & DISH sales executive.I could able to feel TS/DISH has the same clarity. But on seeing depth (MY SISTER HAS TS installed and BROTHER has DISH TV installed), i could able to find out the pixelated format in picture on some channels in Both of the DTH. Also it is visible when you see the clarity in a big TV's (PLASMA/LCD)But TS has added sharpness in the picture than DISH TV. But i need to compare the picture clarity in my brother and sister house as they have got a Plasma and LCD TV'sAs i have normal TV, what i am getting now is very much clarity than what i was getting
 
I am very happy that i have SUN DIRECT. The clarity is awesome and still i am wondering and rich colors on my TV Screen which is almost 7 Years Old (in my room) but still i am wondering my TV can perform and display sharp pic with the help of SUN DTH. Frankly speaking when SUN TV born that time i was just wondering and hoping when i would have dish antenna at my home terrace on seeing cable wala control room. After 10 years it has come true...

It is my beautiful view of DISH.
