Thanks for all your valuable reply guys!
@Jaymin:
Cool it buddy

1) I have not decided to go to airtel yet . that's the reason I am posting my frustration here. Also want feedback on ADTV so that I am well prepared for any shortcomings in it than TS
2) Its not about single channel: TS has 8 HD channels vs 14 in ADTV. TS has only 11 Tamil channels vs 20 in ADTV. What's the point is sticking to a provider just for service when they don't have the content? Content is the King!
3) You are talking about coming back to TS from ADTV after dec 2012... why should I unless there is something is 'totally' wrong with ADTV? I am sure ADTV will soon catch up TS on service front.. they can do better for DSL why not for DTH segment....
4) Even Dec 2012 is only speculation different forums. Their CC don't even bother to answer any tentative data for adding channels or just say directly they don't have plans to add channels...
Oh well, i m pretty cool!
I just wanted to highlight that at times, people repent after moving on. Few months back we had a member who shifted to D2h coz D2h exclusively had ESPN HD. Few months down the line, TS also added it. So the very base on which he moved became void! Next he hated certain nagging things of D2h, and kept complaining about it. So i just want to tell u that may be few months down the line if TS adds more channels (I too really dont know when!) and suppose u r on Airtel at that time, u might start noticing the down sides of Airtel & feel that u shud go back to TS.
I m on D2h, and m livid over the fact that they keep removing useful channels at the cost of adding some new channels - agreed there is demand for the new channels, but then theres an equal demand for the existing channels! But why m i still persisting? With the hope that they will be increasing their capacity in the near future, and then i will miss the customer support i get from them.
Their TAT is really good. Sometimes u do need to show them the fear of TRAI, but ultimately ur issue does get resolved. Thats y i m still sticking to it.
