I voted for the third option...my own experience with SIFY ......1) Hidden download limits,which i got to know about thru this forum.I used to download softwares,songs and stuff but then got slowed down2) CTO doesnt charge me maintainence,but if my system has problems then he does ask for money3) I bought a 32 KBPS 6 month package which is to expire in may,it gave me some glitches like 2-3 KBPS speed after some heavy downloading(it still does that ! ).However when i check my connection speed it shows 100+ KBPS instead of the 32 KBPS i paid for.4) The NIC they installed in my PC is not compatible with win XP(i`m running multi-boot with win 98),also the floppy which its driver came in doesnt install again if i try to do it.5) I have never ever contacted SIFY`s customercare cuz i never felt the need for it.Thru this forum`s user experiences i presumed that most of my complaints will go unheard/ridiculed.I have been using SIFY since july 2004.

and about mr sify officer saying that SIFY has been/was/is/will be the NO 1 ISP in India.....they will get to number 1 only when:-1) They remove the downloading caps like 100/150 MB a day and show us what an unlimited connection really means.2) They give the connection speed/connection time/download limits they "promised" for in their advertis€m€nts.3) They stop forcing the end users to use their "login clients" and "securesynergy" softwares(which are cr*p anyway).to me .... an unlimited,always-on internet connection means broadband...which doesnt require login clients/download limits. do you have anything to say now sify officer?

well. that guy started this thread to prove a point. we are proving that point to him. sify gotta understand... that sending idiots to this forum to argue with customers who are frustrated with their services... not gonna help their cause.

please some one teach them what is braodband.my connection got lost from march 2, if i ask the support team they are tellinthg same thing for last 25 days.we have some problem we are working on it[/b]
someone please suggest me good provider ,i am living in bangalore (bannerghatta road) i am planning to shift jayanagar or koramangala please suggest good provider for these areas
