All I can say is.....
One needs a guarantee of minimum service, and quality of support. A certain amount of commitment to customer doesn't hurt either.
All I've ever seen here is Sify being pounded and hounded for bad quality on all fronts. As such, now it leads to suspicion WHY you are so bent on handing them bouquets. Please explain your IP (sushubh has posted an @n@1ysis of it above), and then keep your next step. As for Bhinder..... excuse me, but he's always respected "this forum" (sic) and hasn't "abused" anyone - you think he's grown his presence here without that?
Also, its incomprehensible how you managed to be so illiterate to say
MAC binding started just now. Almost all ISPs worth the salt @$$ign restrictions on that basis right since 2002 dude! That means either:
a. You guys at sify gave customers unsecured connections.
b. You suddenly got enlightened some days ago.
c. You were on Mars or in a cryogenic module that only opened now. Ah, that makes sense.
Airtel at home here, gives 64 kbps at a fixed monthly cost, @$$ured connectivity round the clock, and no further restrictions of any sort. Neither time nor download caps, and any call to customer support is taken action on within 3 hours - which is how it really should be.
All one asks for, is to get what was promised. Or if you're unsure of yourself, don't promise what you can't deliver.
Whatever was that bullet train doing in your ad?
