NO. The STB will not switch on. It hangs.
Yes u are correct the STB will hang and you will get black screen in the TV Screen and the software will be downloaded automatically.....and you can see the percentage of the software too in the screen........which means that new software is downloading.......

No change for me yet.My signal strength is 176 and quality is full as before

No No. No black screen, only snow raster.

The black screen takes some time to load.

Does any one see any changes/difference in the signal level strength..........
Mine also upgraded but no change in signal strength and quality

for me it was updated at 9:20 AM when i switched my digicomp , no change in signal strength or any other thing

the software is dated 16th July? Is it same for everyone? Could someone pls chk? And hw do i change the onscreen language? Thx alot.

For me it is 17th July and to change the onscreen language to Hindi Go to Organiser------->System Setings------------->Language Settings and you will find the option for changing the onscren language over there.

yes a new software ws downloaded todaybut hardly any changesthe latest software version is 16th july i guesscheck in system settings

I dont know what are the changes we will get by this software upgrade as i am in the office and in the morning i did not check it after the software download but from the comments i think only onscreen language preference to is the only feature might have been added
