thats what i said. Tata Sky plus has integrated recording feature. i don't think it works like an addon to the tata sky firmware. they are likely to be different firmwares with similar interfaces. because the STBs are different models. and could be from different manufacturers as well.

This is incorrect. There has been no pixilation since a software upgrade. Infact, most people do appreciate the fact that it looks better. Are you sure there is no issue with your television? Tata Sky is indeed adding channels as days go by. However, it does not affect the channels quality at all. I am sure a DTH market leader like Tata Sky has enough capacity to add new channels without compromising on the picture quality. so don't worry about that!

there is pixelation of channel especially on Zee Trendz The sound quality is very bad on zee Trendz as compare to other channel. You can see pixelation more clearly on 29 Inch TV or above in channel TCM, MGM, Zee Cafe and few more channel. Tata Sky is charging Rs. 45/- for cosmos pack. they should give the channel pixelation free.

They should get rid of some cheap channels and make way for others for better picture quality. thats what a quality provider should do.

It is a software upgrade not downgrade there is no question of relating the software to picture quality as the software has better looks.
