For enabling EPG no need for OPEN Tv software. EPG can be viewed on any FTA or CI enabled receiver. Only thing is the receiver must support EPG. No need for additional software. This statement also 10000% wrong.
ya u r 100% right..Today i talked with nodal officer he told me that EPG can be enabled without releasing open tv software..I think they will not release open tv software as of now..

today i also talk with nodal officer for 20mins & i clarified all my douths
1.why r u wasting ur bandwidh for adding dd direct channels in sundirect tp?
Ans..he asked me one question that do u know how many channels added & dropped?
i told i know...he replied they removed sun tv & dwtv in the past & added again dwtv in dddirect so we dont relay on dddirect channels that y we added megatv,kalaignar tv & so on.........
2.i asked about new website?
he replied that all update process going on....once website released there is no need to ask to cc....all information regarding account information,recharge,package details,username & password manymore
3.about opentv software?
next software is opentv only
4.i asked these software designedby sundirect?
he replied yes expect opentv
5.about HD channels?
we r testing 2 HD channels
