I think soon they are Losing their No.2 Spot As well and going to be No.3 (May be by this year end itself) as Currently they Dishtv is market leader and No 1 with 6 Million Subscribers.

Dishtv- 6 Million Subscribers
Tata Sky- 4.5 Million Subscribers
Sun Direct- 4.3 Million Subscribers
Bigtv- 2 Million Sunscribers
Airtel- NA

Further If you See The Losses of Tata Sky It's Increasing year by year and as per the latest info Tata Sky net Aggregate Loss is Rs.806.36 Cr.

So Forget About the Idea and dreaming about Tata Sky becoming No.1 With This much of huge Losses and also lossing market share and soon losing their No.2 Spot As well.
Only God knows the Future of this Company.

Further Dishtv Is Currently No.1 and will Stay at No.1 Position with very strong Market Share and Sabse Zyaada 6 Million Subscriber.

Also In the Last 2 Quarters they have shown very good Financial Results and Remains EBITDA Positive for 2 consecutive Quarters and I hope with this pace they will soon be cash positive by this financial year end.

So At the end Dishtv Always Stays at No.1 with Sabse Zyaada Subscribers, Sabse Zyaada Channels, Sabse Zyaada Economical.

Speaking about present, Tata Sky has a good standing in the DTH market and this thread provides suggestions to bring Tata Sky on no.1 we could add on the suggestion and hope to derive action as Tata Sky could be no.1 in the near future.
