Your IP will change everytime you login and disconnect.
checkip.dyndns.com:8245/ ( add http etc)
See post No 8 and give feedback.
Mention modem model too.
Check speed Sydney server at speedtest.net. ( add www. )
give link showing data.

DrTCP default values have not made any appreciable change.
TCP/IP properties
Change to Obtain Ip address automatically.
Network/LAN/properties TCP/IP properties.
In DNS enter 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222.
Test speed again at mumbai server. report speed only. no screenshot required.
Para two : You can blank or delete the physical address.( called MAC ). Rest of the information can be shown.


Para two 1) Seems you are using USB port for Internet connection .
(2)can you try ethernet card connection ? Connect RJ45 cable to VIA...... ethernet card port.
Start/AllPrograms/Accessories/Communications/Network connection Wizard
follow instructions.

i used to connect through ethernet card previously.A few days back it stopped working properly,i connected to the internet but after some time a message is displayed "Local Area Connection has limited or no connectivity" and i get disconnected.So i started using USB.I have also re-installed USB drivers.

How come u get 2mbps speed on a 256 kbps connection?
