i am facing speed problems after i got my modem changed from MT841 TO SIEMENS C2110 TYPE1 as my previous modem had gone faulty after a electric spark.my current speed is

please help me.what should i do.the line man says that my telephone line is ok.my pc is also ok.then what could be the problem.why bsnl is giving this stupid modem?

Never heard of siemens modem from bnsl. Post screen caps of the settings. Maybe someone using siemens can help.

What is the promised speed of BSNL? Did you try speed test with servers in USA?

For me Bangkok server gets only 226kbps for download and 135 kbps for upload. And some server in USA I get 1700kbps for download. I have upto 2mbps BSNL connection.

i have tested with many servers same speed.only singapore server gave me 226kbps download speed.what could be the actual problem.when i try to view a online video am getting only 80kbps egyoutube,muftonline.com.myfriends are getting above 200kbps.my modem is SIEMENS 2110.

SHRI SOUMIK has checked the help file and has reported that siemens C2110 is same as BT 2110

Sorry. The model is not equivalent to BTVoyager 2110. Shri Soumik has confirmed this. Anyway in BT voyager web site , you may be able to locate the correct model. Again I apologize for the mistake.
