Standard Chartered DigiSmart Credit Card

Freaking rbi guidelines lol.

Noticed that digismart has appeared in backend. Yey.
Managed to find cvv online Yey.
Created cart in Grofers. Used digismart code. Entered card details. Went to OTP page. Got OTP. Transaction fails.

Got sms about domestic transactions disabled.

Goes back to StanChart App. Took me a while to find card management section. Digismart is not listed there. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Calls customer care. Lady tells me they are not allowed to change these settings for the customer. Card should appear in online card management in a day or two 💩
 
got the card today. still cannot enable online transactions because it does not appear in card management panel.
 
still no luck. a guy on twitter told me that he is facing the same problem and he got the card four days ago lol.
 
just appeared. enabled it in app settings. and was able to place order on Grofers. now wondering if i should use it as my primary card with zero points or just use it on grofers.
 
Also failed on RazorPay recurring payment platform for monthly donations to IFF. Their website does claim that all VISA and MasterCard credit cards are supported.
 
Its strange that they have zero benefits for use on other places. And how much will you give buying/using the 4-5 services alone.
 
honestly, the points i have accumulated on stanchart and yes cards have been lying useless because they just do not have any useful gift cards available. so basically the money i saved on my first order of Grofers is more than what i have gained from my previous cards in several years lol.

latest on digismart cards... nfc worked at retail machine. samsung pay still is not accepting this card. called stanchart helpline, they said that they would send me a link that should help. but nothing received yet. i tried removing one of my older stanchart card and adding it back and it worked in first attempt. so not sure what's going on.
 
no luck with samsung pay. customer care keeps on blaming samsung pay lol. would try to call samsung pay helpline in morning as it is no longer 24x7. not hopeful as it's unlikely this is under their control.

only difference is that this is a visa while my other two stanchart cards are mastercard both of which add to samsung pay easily. since i just canceled one of these cards because of mobikwik leak, i would get to test it out again when the new card arrives in the coming days.
 
here is something i found out today. the 49+gst charge on digismart is reversed after 60 days lol.
