Ok so you need to pay and you will get sort of a cashback after 60 days if you spend more than 5000 in a month?

Considering you have another card which is free, you can probably ask for this to be made free - not sure if they will entertain the request right away, but you can try after a year perhaps - by saying you will cancel otherwise.
 
Tried. They said no such option for even long term customer. Not really a big deal. Have already saved more than 500 bucks in the last three orders 😝
 
I guess thats what they are asked to say - atleast for now - or maybe this is applicable only for landmark brand customers - as I can confirm that this was made free for sure for such customers.
 
i can now confirm that the 49 rupee charge is indeed reversed after a few months. have received my first refund. though i guess gst is gone.
 
If its a fee reversal then ideally GST also should be reversed - If its a "cashback" equivalent to the fee then it may not be. Need to check T&C.

Edit: looks like fees. How does it look like in the statement .. A "minus 49" for last month & a "plus 49 + GST" for current month?
This is waived on monthly spends of INR 5000 in the next calendar month of fee levied.

the statement is confusing. they charge gst after the refund. which got reversed after a few days. would need to go through multiple statements to see what exactly is happening.

so, i guess they do inform when they reverse the charges for a particular month.
 
So I was trying to apply this card. Once I enter my aadhaar number, it says sending OTP to XXXXXXX6040. The issue is this is not my number. Not sure from where they are fetching this. I have checked UIDAI and my mobile number is correct there.
 
Grofers seems to have removed all card offers. Digismart coupon doesn't work anymore. No communication from standard chartered.
