First time Tata Sky CC have told that they are trying for Star Ckt!!!

Yes indeed. The CC also told me they are trying to put the channel to the earliest but she cant comment when will be the day of launch. Guys dont give up, I think they are feeling the pressure. I asked her how many calls she get perosnally with respect to Star Cricket enquiry. She told me that she gets numerous calls and by the end of the day they give the call report to the management.

So guys dont give in making fake calls and enquiry. Keep the pressure but guys i am confident we will get in 5 days time:thumbsup:.

I am just calling the Tata Sky CC not dish TV but the pulse today when ever i am speaking today i feel like the CC them selves are fedup with the calls told me that get numerous calls. Lets carry on this good work. Guys please dont wate the money from your personal phone. Try call the TataSky from your office or Tollfree numbers. Other wise dont strain yourself this is my sinciere request:ashamed:.

Its a Shame on the Game

ESPN starts a new channel Star Cricket, why? BCCI is the richest board in the world, why? MNC's are easily ready to loosen up their pockets for cricket telecasts, why?
Players with faces like ostrich become rich with hundred products in their pocket, why? everyone seems to be benefiting, why? - Its not the game, its not cricket but its simply the Fans of cricket in the country, its us, we, we the people. The whole world is benefiting..but its the same precious population that is left in misery. The only question which keeps rising in my mind is - why things like these happen every now and then? Now, it has reached a level where the cricket lovers are even devoid of few matches because there is some dispute going on somewhere, every now and then. We, the fans of india, miss a cricket match on TV because someone somewhere wants to make more money. Itsnt it a shame??

Lets go back, this is something which is not new to us. BCCI, easily the most unprofessional and inefficient institution in the world, decides to grant rights of indian matches for five years, what do they decide? Give it to Zee TV, a channel known for showing useless soaps. The only background they had in cricket was that in break for programs they used to show ad's of indian cricketers. ESPNSTAR were devoid because they couldnt match the bid from Zee TV. So, I belive it was all about money. Although this is a different thing that none of them managed to crack it because?? BCCI dropped the whole bidding process - once again giving a great showing of their inefficiency.

And then there is always examples of Ten Sports fighting with DD and ESPN raising the prices when there is an Indian series on the cards. Its unanimous that ESS is the best channel in terms of quality, there is hardly any doubt about that. But cant we get things sorted out way before. Why the viewers in India have to wait till the last day to get the telecast? Now with Star Cricket on the cards, DTH companies are in a soup. Again its the money my friend. Its my belief that Dish TV will get star cricket definitely as they share great relations with ESS. So I dont think Dish TV consumers need to worry. But this whole saga has proved that its a shame that we have drawn out of the game. Craving for the channels, only god knows what lies ahead.

hey guys... another intersting thing happened to me...I told you that i have posted the query of availability of star cricket channel in espnstart.com forum right.... that website admin has given the below mentioned reply stating that either stop watching cricket or go to cricinfo... who the hell he is to direct me to some other website....Further he has locked my thread itself so that nobody further can post replies to it.. how bad it is from ESS? i really didnt expect this from espn forum... ------------------------------------------------------ESPN forum site admin: The Rights for these events are not cheap by anyway as of the capitalistic economics work, there is a demand, people will pay for the supply. So my advice to you: STOP WHINING and if you want to watch Cricket, pay, or you can read about it on CricInfo.------------------------------------------------------------- I didnt leave it .. You have started a channel just for public viewership and not for any charity.. So make sure the channel is available on most viewed cable platforms before the launch so that the people will not miss any action nor they will not beg at the service providers...
At any press releases, ess has never disclosed the info regarding the availability of this new channel in any platforms which is immoral.
Its almost a week since the channel has been launched and still we didnt receive any coverage.

Shame on ESPN.....

I tell you all that we are in India thats the reason. Imagine if this has happend in US or any european countries so many would have sued for compensation.

One more thing I dont think there will be an adequate improvement in DTH even after Sun & Reliance launch their DTH. What will happen is that in out country in DTH providers will be like national local cable walla. Imagine the current situation with respect to star cricket. Both the DTH service providers are not giving proper reply this will be the sam after Sun, Reliance or Bharthi launch their DTH services. Instead of calling out 2 DTH provders we will 6 DTH providers in the next 1 or 2 years:wall:. This is the curse we have in India.

its pathetic to hear the news that they are not interested. well they are interested in providing a crap channel called chutti tv.they wud give useless ones. who cares abt their interestits our interest only that matters.iam still optimistic,if they are not giving it before the match iam gonna blast them. if tata is giving scv wud surely lose their business
