Any way for wait for some time. On Espn's part they have confirmed it but we need to hear from crap Tata Sky. The executive told me that reason for tatasky is that Espn need to provide the signal to them and TataSky need to test the channel before (not like dish tv testing the channel online before launching:hysterical. Lets be patient. I hope the suspense breaks soon.

Guys i am not sure about this news posted by Kartik as i just checked with tatasky technical guy he told me its not true regarding [COLOR=#2c77ae! important][COLOR=#2c77ae! important]software [COLOR=#2c77ae! important]upgrade[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR] but one of the bigggest news of the evening that technical guy has confirmed but he was hesitant to give the information but some how he told me that tatasky has started testing the channel right now they backend is checking about the picture clarity and soon.
Guys this was the news which we wanted and we got it finally. So tomorrow we will get.

In my earlier thread StarCricket in TataSky today i posted in angry that we will get the channel tomorrow as i also mentioned that what ever i utter in angry that becomes true. I belive its going to happen tomorrow.

Dish tv users are still getting On Access.So there is a chance that Tata Sky users may get Star Cricket first while dish tv people will remain testing till 19th.

thanks aju Yes.. its damn sure that Star cricket will be on air in Tata Sky from tomorrow. I just called espn star office and they have confirmed that all deals are over. It will be aired from tomorrow.

hello everybody, Can anybody inform me, that When we can see, STAR Cricket, as it still showing NO Access. ??? Some people can see it and some dont ?? will all the subscribers get , or some have to get help from CC. Please advise. RegardsNO ACCESS screen on Dish Tv, for STAR CRICKET, Can anybody inform me when can all subscribers watch it uninterrupted. Hi guys i am samrat ahuja! from new delhi!!i have been following this forum for last 7-10 days and i am really enthralled to see the zeal and tenacity of many ardent fan of cricket to get star cricket on Tata Sky!!even i , as a fan of cricket be it domestic or international wanted star cricket on sky, and did put in same efforts but did not post anything as i was getting the same silly responses from sky cc as u all were!!however just 5 mins back i called cc again and at least their response was new this time aroundstar cricket is under process is what the lady told me!!however she still didnt commit d date......my account of tata sky is ending on 19th and when i threatened her that i will get it disconnected, she said sir dont worry u will not miss the first ballafter that i called espn star office in new delhi at following number Tel : +91-124- 4147777 - 87talked to guy called shirish!!he was very confident that star cricket may well come on tata by tomorrow only!!when i told him all tv mediums in delhi inccluding dish and cas have started getting star cricket by now and y not sky he said that even while we talk , the deal is being struck bw sky and espn and he asked me not to worry as sky also want its customer to stay with them!!so i hope our problem will be solved by tomorrow!!bye guys and it was really heartening to c u all discussing problems and frustation with each other!!!samrat

ESPN yet to ink pact on England series

New Delhi, July 17: With just two days to go for the India-England cricket series, uncertainty remains on whether cable TV viewers and DTH subscribers, especially those of Tata Sky, will be able to watch the matches as sports broadcaster ESPN Star and service providers are yet to reach an agreement.

"We are exploring all possible ways to protect our customers from the rise in costs as Star Cricket is a pay channel. Currently, we are in negotiations and are attempting to find a solution in the best interest of customers," a Tata Sky spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said even if Tata Sky was unable to strike a deal with ESPN Star, subscribers would be able to watch the one-day matches on public broadcaster Doordarshan.

ESPN Star's decision to beam the cricket series only on its new channel Star Cricket has caught the service providers off-guard.

"The cricket matches were expected to be featured on broadcaster's existing channels ESPN and Star Sports, but now we are informed that Star Cricket, which is also a pay channel, will carry the same," the spokesperson said.

When contacted, an ESPN Star official said negotiations with Tata Sky were still going on.

ESPN has signed MSO Incable for its operations in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore and Dish TV to carry its newly-launched channel Star Cricket.
Cable operators also said discussions with ESPN were going on and they were hopeful of concluding a deal soon.
Cable Operators Association of India President Roop Sharma said: "The talks between ESPN and cable operators are inconclusive as the broadcaster has priced its channel high and subscribers are not ready to pay extra for that." (Agencies)
