guys after reading all the threat i saw one common point.In most of the customer care, cable, DTH or CAS most of them are replying that STar cricket would be added in between 15 th to 19th.I think ESS guys are checking the Star cricket in all the platforms before giving to customers. Not only that it should have a separate decoding system. It seems ESS wants to be sure that its signals are not being pirated. so they are working patiently. I think it should come with in 19th of this month

At the 7th time of my call to CC today as a customer intension to buy Tatasky. I conveyed me to the CC that Dish TV dealer is telling me that they signed up and agreement with Star Cricket its just a matter of time the channel coming onto the board as they wanted to add both newo channels at the same time along with Star Cricket as for as TataSky dealer is concerned he told me that he dont have any information on this so thats the reason i am calling you. I also told him that if dish TV provides the feed of Star Cricket i will for 2 days then i will go with Dish Tv as i think that they are best in providing the content first what we customer want. Then the CC replied me that they are involved in the discussion with ESPN and added that either coming soon or at any moment but he cant when will that come. He also added the same reply that matches are provided in ESPN STAR as well:hysterical:.

I have Dish Tv. And it is more or less sure that Star Cricket along with a whole host of Sports channels will be on the DISH Tv platform sooner rather than later. This was confirmed to me by Dush TV through mail yesterday. Go through the following to get a feel of what I am suggesting....

No way in the world can Dishtv CC people reply so soon and with so much matter. it is the same id which we used to get mails from that Adult channels have started and so on. So this is just a bogus email id in yahoo.com.why the hell will the CC have yahoo id?

I will never trust them and will just wait for the channel to be dispalyed on my TV.

You are all wasting your time on this channel. If their channel is not seen by many then they are the loosers. Don't be desperate. In Chennai when CAS was introduced a few years ago a Tamil Channel "Vijay" went pay and they thought everyone would by a stb to watch there channel. But after a week they went fta only for Chennai because no takers for their channel :hysterical: Same will happen to Star cricket. Let them keep their channel themselves. They could have shown these matches either in Star sports or in Espn. They are greedy so started another channel. After a series these are channels becomes crap but still we are paying them!

DishTV has the most # of channels as we know , they probably have every available channel one would like to have. The only two channels i can think can be added are Hallmark Channel (english movies) its not available on Tata Sky as well , only cable operators & perhaps the news channel tez. Star Maajha (shouldnt it be mazaa meaning mine) would also be interesting to watch, although im surprised as to why that channel is not on tatasky yet , since its a star channel/

Neo Sport issue is very similar to this but at the momenets all views want this channel and also there is no other channels provide any feed. Also Cricket is now once again popular in the market and people want it. Also Star Cricket is cheap channel at 12 Rs only to compare Neos channels 47 Rs.

Also don't forget World cups, Autralia Tour and 20/20 world cup live on Star Cricket. So they will add this channel as soon as possible.

I hope we can watch England A Vs India match.

MUMBAI: Star Cricket, the latest channel from ESPN Star Sports (ESS) dedicated to cricket, will for the first time showcase the live coverage of India's warm up matches against English county Sussex and England A.

India will play a four day match against Sussex followed by a three day match against England A before the start of the three test matches. India also plays a one day match against England A in the month of August. Star Cricket will follow this up with a live broadcast of the three Test matches played between England and India.

ESPN Software India Pvt Ltd. MD R C Venkateish said, "As we had promised before, we will be showcasing live all prime cricket content featuring team India during its tour of England. Right from warm up matches to the tests and the one day internationals, our bouquet of channels will cover the entire cricket tour ball by ball with analysis by some of the best experts of the game."

The three channels, ESPN, Star Sports and Star Cricket, will be telecasting almost un-interrupted cricket over the next 15 months. Starting with the tour of England, the sports broadcaster will telecast more than 150 days of international cricket till September 2008.

The English tour comprising three Test matches and seven ODIs will be followed by the telecast of the Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa (September 07). India's tour of Australia involving 4 test matches and a tri series with Australia, Sri Lanka and India involving 15 ODIs will also be telecast on the network (December 07 -March 0. Other than these, the non-Indian cricket matches comprising West Indies' tour of Zimbabwe, involving two Test matches and three ODIs, and Australian tours of Sri Lanka and New Zealand will also be telecast on ESPN Star Sports in Sep-Dec 2007. And Sohum, I haven`t turned my TV off since I have started receiving the channel.
They are now showing some show called "Greatest Upsets" and `Inside Cricket, a magazine show was on , in the evening.

The channel looks fresh,a million times better than what those idiots at Nimbus have to offer.

Well this is confirm news.

There is no Star Cricket before today's match that means there is no agreements done between Dish Tv and ESS and Tata Sky and ESS. If we have chance to to get this channels today we have to waut till 12 noon when both DTH opertors do their updates. Otherwise we have no hope to get channels before 19th or.....
