Can anyone provide me SCV's Phone number.. or has anyone confirmed whether star cricket will get added in to SCV's channel list

sorry to tell you that when i contacted local Espn office he told me that they have started the service with Hathway but SCV its minimal chance as now but added SCV might add this channel by 18th July or else SCV CAS users need to wait for some time:thumbsup:

This si the same reply i got it from Espn and he added that SCV seems to be not interested to add this channel :hysterical:.

who cares abt their interest? its our interest that matters. and scv doesnt even allow hathway to compete.iam saying either u give the channel . if u cant give why u people are stopping the hathway.. scv walas are screwing up..hathway was not being allowed into certain parts of chennai by this crap scv.iam going to call them finally on 18th.. if they are not going to give, they wud surely lose their business. iam damn sure.

I am staying near Vadapalani. If i had hathway i would have gone with hathway STB but i get the feed of SCV only. I think things will change soon as now there is clash between Maran & Karunanidhi. Have you seen a banner outside DMK office stating that Kalingar TV from September 15 which is exactly next to the banner of sun TV. I hope hathway get into much more places in chennai.

SCV is not worried about the customers they wanted to make revenue thats the reason they are not providing the channel. The Espn guy told me that the business model with respect to Star Cricket is not attractive what SCV is proposing and he added that SCV may not beem the channel.

hai iam residing in chromepet. the prob is even if hathway wants to enter my area or some area, local cable walas and scv doesnt allow them.they cut their wires when they tried to enter. this is how scv behaves...how long are they going to continue like this. already Tata Sky is eating their revenue. so ultimately they need to give star cricket.if not, they might enjoy temporary revenues. but in future people wud surely dump them like garbage. so iam still optimistic we might get that star cricket probably on 19th... on the last minute

some news about this channel. but on Cable and they r hopeful that we wont miss the first ball of 1st Test. I dont know who decides what a customer will like to pay and how much he will pay.here again it is said that customer does not want to pay. Just read this..

NEW DELHI: Dispelling fears that the upcoming India-England series might not be watched by many viewers due to standoff between ESPN Star and cable operators, the broadcaster on Thursday said talks in this regard are on track and the channel would be available to all before the series starts on July 19.

"We have in-principal agreements with practically all cable operators across the country and are in the process of fine tuning some deals which we will conclude soon.

"We are confident that Star Cricket will be seen across Cable and Satellite households in India before the first ball is bowled during the India-England Test series," ESPN Software India Managing Director R C Venkateish said.

Star Cricket has received a positive response from cable operators across the country, he said, adding that the channel can be seen across all major cities including metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore just two weeks from the launch date.

However, some cable operators said that the discussions with ESPN are going on and they are hopeful of concluding a deal soon.

Cable Operators Association of India President Roop Sharma said: "The talks between ESPN and cable operators are inconclusive as the broadcaster has priced its channel high and subscribers are not ready to pay extra for that."

Since now DTH is picking in TN thats the reason Sun DTH will be launched shortly to attract TN people. Dont worry if you are using SCV STB you will get it before the match. With respect HAthway cable getting into vqrious area in chennai this is the right time for them as the govt is against SCV now. Hathway people could go and meet CM and tell their problems.

hey guys...i called the cc of tata last evening for a recharege problem... The prolem was solved immediately...then later i said the executive that i wanted to add another connection in my room... she was happy to know that and started to tell me the offer... once she was finished i asked har abt star ckt and she was stumped!!!She then told me that all the matches are going to be telecasted on espn including the test matches(which of course is not!!)... Then i said her to take a look at espnstar.com and said her that if it was to be telecasted on espn then why is it not on thier schedule...then she put me on a hold... came back after a few mins and apologised for it.. she said that they always recieve updates from their concerned depts and one of the updates mention that they can assure the callers abt the matches on espn... So is tata fooling us or trying to make excuses abt not adding the channel....I'm not sure!! the update that she read out shocked me!! Assure the caller abt the matches being telecasted on ESPN!!! shocking....I even told her to call me on the 17th with an update on star ckt or i would move to dishtv as they have assured me abt the channel being added on the platform before 19th and dissconnected the call...

lets hope that Tata Sky will add STAR Cricket b4 19th.but if they wont then they should also tell the reason for it.
