Wel there is no live match on Star Sports This is mistake from espnstar.com and they updates Star Cricket program on 1 July but when you search all channel option you will see match on Star Sports but when you select only Star Sports from channel box you will see there is no live matches.

Match is only on Star Cricket. No Star Sports and no ESPN

in the programs listing there is no mention of star cricket...i selected all channels in the select channel category for 19thjuly...it showed match on star sports...i dont know if its a problem with espnstar server...cos there is no mention of star cricket on the listings...

Neither TataSky nor ESPN are right. In espnstar.com the schedule shown for star cricket is denoted by star sports. In the same schedule you could see the following

thanx!! India this is now a big relief...I thoufht if it is going to be on either of the 2 channels.. tata would not add star ckt...I hop it is added before 19th otherwise v might just recieve the message 'all lines are currently busy! Please try again after some time!' as all of us will be blasting tata cc for not taking our requests into considerations..

I agree and confirm that there no LIVE telecast on any other channel except STAR CRICKET for Test Matches. If they had to share then why would they have launched a new channel also.

Well espnstar.com shows that matches are on Star Sports.I know its a mistake.But Tata Sky are not following this web bcoz they are telling their customers that matches are on Espn not Star Sprt.Both are wrong.I think ESS should have named the channels as StarSports 1 and StarSports 2.Sky Sports in UK does this.

All broadcasting people are investing huge money in these tv rights. But how will they get returns from it?... only when we people starting viewing those channels, only when the channel reaches more subscribers....which inturn increases the ads.... But now whats happening...Knowing the difficulity, that starting a channel needs all sorts of negotiations to be done with various types of cable service providers to increase the no. of viewers, why ess has not done these negotiations before launching the channel.... Unless and until the channel hits more no. of tv sets, its of no use by investing so much in starting a channel... If we compare the cricket match tv feeds with bollywood films.... Every channle broadcaster is more interseted in Entertainment section.. where nowadays they are prepared to telecast a bollywood film live from theatre... but not for the sports...One thing is that, to blame Tata Sky / ess alone is not fair, we should definitely blame BCCI also because this crap cricket committe does not have any intensions with respect to tv feeds.. they are bothered only whether a part of money from sponsors / broadcasters comes to them or not... Its good to privatise BCCI and sack these financial hackers... regardsSuriya..

hi friends im umair.my cousin is a dishtv dealer and his shop is beside my house and he is a illiterate person.i also sit on his shop and he always take help from me abt dishtv yesterday he ask me to call dishtv major dealer zahid bashir no. and we chat with him abt star cricket launch then he told us that he will call dishtv office later then he call us and told us that it will launch on dishtv before tatasky.but we were not satisfied.we have good relations with two zee tvs editors sulman and rakeesh and today 7 pm nigh he told us a good news for all dth customersthat dish tv on 10th july has signed a contract with star cricket and it will launch on dishtv 18 july 11pm night.he also told us that dishtv has rights to launch it now but they r waiting for the approval from nimbus because they want to launch four chanels together star cricket,neo sports,neo sportrs plus,neo news.
