You are the getting the correct speed that you are supposed to get for the home 750+ plan. Your browsing might be a bit faster with the change in the dns, but otherwise no speed increase whatsoever.
i agree with you but is it normal that the router stats show 2048 as download and 509 as upload. This on two different routers(UTstarcom 3002-g1 and Netgear dg834g v4
