Lower speed plans seem to give at least 10 Mbps extra speed, even on 100 Mbps plans. But that's just speed test, real world usage might differ.
Certain websites might be blocked at DNS level so you should change the DNS to either google or cloudflare or any other DNS of your choice. There are also different types of DNS methods like DoH, DoT, etc. if you prefer them over plain DNS. Just google for more info.
