Hello,

Suggest me best router for home use...previously i had TP-Link WR740N, it is not working now..

1. Which company do u suggest? TP Link, D-Link, Net Gear, other? And which company has fastest and better service? Which company provides on site warranty?

2. Single 0r double antenna?

3. Suggest for normal size 2BHK home as well as suggest for larger range which can work for 2 floors..

4. Which model do you recommend?

I noticed u recommended TP-Link only..

What about Netgear and D-Link? And which provides on-site warranty? I heard d link provides on-site warranty?

I am looking for router which is fine for my 10-20mbps excitel cable broadband , covers 3bhk and preferably 2 floors..1200+ sqft....

1. What does frequency do? Different between 2.4 GHz and more frequecy?

2. Difference between 150mbps , 300mbps and more..if my net is of 10-20mbps..does it matter

3. What does more antenna signify?

4. What else I shd look for?

Thanks!

D-Link provides on-site warranty?

Also give advise and share ur knowledge on above queries..specially which features I shd look for basic broadband use..for home only...and good range...which one do u suggest?

well. tbh. i have never required service/support on a networking product. i am not sure if they have a high failure rate. i had one Linksys model fail on me but that was after so many years that it made a smarter move to buy a new model with abn support.

as for range, no one can surely tell you how well a particular model work in your home. there are just too many factors in play. so the best thing is to buy a model that seems like a good option and get it. if the range is bad, invest in a repeater.
