I'm looking for dual core android phone for gifting.Budget 8k.

My requirements
[*]> 1.2Ghz processor
[*]Dual-sim (must)
[*]4.5 or 5 inch WVGA
[*]512MB RAM
[*]atleast 4GB internal memory
[*]atleast 5MP camera
[*]atleast 1500mAh battery
[/list]I shortlisted xolo a500s,gionee p2,micromax a74,xolo a600.Which one of these will be best? If you have any other suggestions, let me know.

I would have recommended Moto G as it would get a dual sim edition in India but would probably cost a bit more.

Quadcores at 8K...Can't believe it!!!
Thought of taking Micromax A77 but it's OOS in all sites.
Q700 is out of my budget.
I can see vast price difference (>Rs 500) between flipkart & indiantimes shopping.Any guess why?

Stay away from Lenovo. Or at least the P770. Unless you want to use it as a phone because it has hardly 500MB space for apps.
As for quadcores... Well. A quadcore from Mediatek is going to be very different from a quadcore from Qualcomm or Nvidia.

I bought Q700 for 8400 (Even then before discount, it was 9k) ... And now its 10k :O
