Yes, I am using Huawei E8231 and its very good... Difference between 8221 and 8231 is latter supports 21.6Mbps, while former supports 14.4Mbps HSPA... The best part is we can use this FREE app from playstore to control the devices connected to WiFi (even block others), change WIFi password, read received SMS and set data Limits... The only thing lacking is the USSD support, otherwise a great product...

Is there any mifi device that supports cdma as well as gsm Sims ?

Some imported cdma+GSM mifi devices from Verizon will do that job. I had used one earlier.
