cool replies!i called the CC n They said that this march last week they r going to launch SD Completely adding new channels starting open tv . currently test channels of HD TV r going on .more tp are taken To fulfill the requirement.the change in frequency is they r in testing phase. after completing it we can get it.ppl who upgraded their latest software updates may get these channels by adding the channels manually.hope this works .n definitely a good move by SD. :D:D:D:happy::happy::happy::D:D:D
 
Is HD Channel can be viewed through normal TV, if we can view this, can we fine the difference in clarity. :huh:

for viewing HD channels, i think we need the following:1. HD source (thankfully, though in testing mode, we have some HD source)2. HD TV (should be able to decode 720p signals because i believe these test signals are also 720p only (HD ready) and not 1080p (full HD))3. HD STB (STB's capable of processing HD without downgrading the signals)4. Cables (component or HDMI or DVI-D cables)if any of this is missing, u cant get HD quality.i dont know about the STB that SD provides. but if you use RCA cables for connection, then i dont think you can get HD quality.

Yes not possible.

Thanks for the INFO, so i need to buy HD TV if i want to view HD. :O
Also i was planing to buy BlueRay Player, now it is dropped since i dont have HD TV. :D
