So @Nishant recently mentioned this one as he has been progressively replacing all fans at his place with these units.

I am considering getting one for trial before I can decide on whether to start replacing all the fans progressively as well.

Opinions?

There are four models. Need to look into difference between them. The top end model has a remote which removes the need for a regulator so that sounds cool.

Great thing is that it is also available on Flipkart and other stores these days.

informed them. i did not record the opening process so they would need to send me a new unit on faith. would find out tomorrow. next time i am opening while recording a video :\

I thought ebay's policy are pro buyer though once someone sold be an expired product and ebay cc refused to take any action. But another guy I know has got multiple times compensation coupons from ebay that too for non genuine problems :speechless:

I have always received refund from ebay for faulty products. But this was about a year back.

Recently I have heard that eBay has turned pro-seller.

I have switched to purchases from flipkart or Amazon. (because they store/dispatch items themselves)

I no more look at ebay

The guy did not confirm today because it was after office hours. He told me to send him photos. I told him that I only have photos of opened package so I cannot really provide a proof of package opening. He sounded apologetic. Stated that he would try to ship a replacement tomorrow. Would find out tomorrow.

I only order from eBay when I need a product that is of low value and is not easily available elsewhere Like I recently ordered a Shoe Horn. Very hard to find locally and even online.

because of quality issues I now avoid ebay even if I have to pay a little more

ebay tends to have a lot of products that you are not going to find otherwise either locally or on reputed online stores. these folks import these products from china and elsewhere and sell them at tidy profits.
