Tata Sky DTH HD Access Fee has been revised (increased)

HD Access Fee is a big joke! I don't understand why public is not opposing this. The concern Govt Dept should ban such fees.

Tomorrow 4K Channels will come. Will they start charging 4K Access Fee?

Why HD Access fee is joke? Its their (Tata Sky's) way of packaging. But HD Access Fee make sense only if we are subscribed to higher packs which has English channel, Sports Channels. Then with Access Fee, we can watch HD Feed of those channels. In other providers, we have to pay separate charge for each HD channel/pack subscribed.
BTW I guess now we can subscribe individual HD channel as well in TATASKY.
Add On Packs
Click on Sports 1, popup is displayed which has following line.

^HD Channels corresponding to the Standard Definition (‘SD’) channels subscribed to as a part of Base pack and Add on pack can be viewed upon payment of the HD Access Fee. Upon paying HD Access Fees as aforestated and subscribing to a SD A la carte channel, the HD Channel corresponding to the said SD A la carte channel will also be available. Alternatively, an HD channel(s) can also be separately subscribed as an A-la-carte channel(s), at the applicable rate(s) without paying HD Access Fee.
