Yes I got a message today from Tata Sky asking for my interest to change my MPEG2-STB to MPEG4-STB for free of cost, I was really surprised to know that they are switching to MPEG4,
Thats a good news.
Lets see how fast will they change it...

I got an sms from Tata Sky to upgrade to mpeg4 box for free and I replied with Y to 56633. Then I got confirmation. After couple of days I got a call from tatasky representative saying that the box will be delivered shortly. She asked if I wanted warranty for one year by paying Rs.500 but I said i do not need it. Box was delivered in half an hour after that call. Old box was replaced. The guy who came to replace took it. Speaking about the box, its tiny and cute. But there are no buttons on it to change channels :( we only have to use the remote. Software was upgraded today at 3.30 am. I dont like the new software update. Old one was superb and simple. After installing new box, response time for changing channels is little slow compared to older one.

no buttons on the STB is bad :o remotes go bad and you are stuck with nothing :o
And who will use STB buttons to change the channels, etc even if the remote is not working? Not a big deal.
