Hi,I have heard that the Tata Sky quality really deteriorates on HDTV LCDs (SonyBravia, Samsung etc.) of bigger size such as 32" or 40". Any comments or suggestions? If so, then was cable walla a better choice for bigger and better quality TVs?
The signal provided DTH as well as cable is PAL, not HDTV. The bigger TV you use the worst it will look. Some channels have been given very low bandwidth so those will look bad even on a 32" LCD (and if you look closely even on a 29" CRT).
In the chroma show room, I saw only TS channels in all the tvs on display. I am sure, all reputed showrooms will show what the customer wants - dish tv, Tata Sky, sun direct and dvd, before he decides to purchase. Picture quality was quite good for ts in chroma showroom. And they had TS stbs for sale. If the picture quality is bad with TS, I do not think, neither chroma nor TS will gamble with their reputation.
