We should avoid talking in favour of piracy on this reputed forum. I feel none of us are in favour of Piracy and thats one of the reason we have joined IBFAnd this link had already been shared with Znet , keep this into consideration too ..

THere is a term for that RIAA and MPAA are doing. It is known as racketeering

In May, FilmOn founder Alki David and a group of artists sued CNET’s Download.com and parent company CBS. The copyright holders accused the CBS-owned websites of several copyright-related offenses for their role in distributing LimeWire and other P2P software. This week the artists dropped their case, threatening to replace it with an even bigger case in the near future.

Airtel is the first to block all these sites stating DoT be it blogger or now all filesharing sites.Wish they were first to adapt the recommendations of TRAI.Banning Filesharing sites is just a stupid move.If they want to curb Piracy they must bring strict regulations rather than blocking these sites.

I meant the airlines example, of course i realize that things are not as simple in case of free file sharing hosts and there may be technical constraints in the verification of ownership rights, but gay abandon should also not be encouraged, Europe has always projected itself as extra liberal in these matters and i am not surprised by their court's decisions, doesn't mean it's the gospel truth and we should follow their neo-liberal trends.Edit: Big difference between WYSIWYG file and media sharing sites like dushare, youtube, imgur, and those using torrents.
