yeap. airtel and most other sites are playing with fire here if the court order has been issued and the block has to be implemented by all the ISPs in the country.
^ umm..that depends..but till they have one they cant force other ISP's on the basis of an old order
I dont think they are forcing anything as of now , since most of the sites are now accessible. Also reliance can simply block stating that "RELIANCE PRODUCTION" asked to block infringing sites , courts which has no idea of working of internet will simply accept it
yeah..thats the reason why these sites are working on other ISP's..only aircel appears to have blocked them on "friendly terms"nope they cant simply state that... any half-decent ISP would need a copy of the order
I dont think so , i may be wrong , but i think in IT act , if a simple complain is made , ISP have to block , as ISP are responsible for it according ot IT act IIRC
if complaint is made they may/may not block..but if its an injunction from Delhi High court..it stands on a much higher footing, then it has to be blocked, no discretion, no questions asked
