I have just received the much awaited C6 from Amazon.
But it got a wired issue.
I have set the dumb ONT into transparent bridge mode and router usually work great after setting up my BSNL FTTH profile.

But,as soon as their is a LOS,the C6 won't initiate auto-connect.I have to go to the management page and click on connect.
It seems that I am missing something. Can I hope to get some help as it has got very frustrating since signal drop is common at my place, albeit for 2 minutes every 5 hours.

@anubhav11 How did you disable the WAN connection error page ? I tried clicking on the "Don't remind me" option on that page, but didn't seem to improve anything.
As you said that pppoe connection is instant post boot, actually my understanding is also same and it should connect instantly post boot up, but not happening in my case, it is taking it's own sweet time around 2-2.5 mins post boot, but if I put ONT in Router Mode, pppoe connects within 1-2 secs post boot.
Yes i did the same for disabling wan error page and since then it hasn't appeared.

Also why have you set secondary connection on pppoe page, i haven't set anything on it. Its just pppoe credentials.

Reset the router and set it up again.

Yes, now the WAN connection error page is no longer appearing and seems the Fire Stick is also able to connect (once PPPoE connection gets established in C6).
The secondary connection is to access the ONT Management Interface only, so have just put it on the same subnet as the ONT. I have tried to reset the router and set up pppoe without the secondary connection, but still same (pppoe connection takes 2-2.5 mins to connect).

Here are the PON stats. Also, regarding the MTU, you mean to put default (1500) in ONT and 1460 in Router ?

Actually, post initial setup got the update to 1.3.6 in management interface and did that. In 1.3.6 also, it was same issue, taking too long for PPPoE connection. Then I reverted to 1.3.5 (which was originally present out-of-the-box) by downloading from TP-Link India website (1.3.5 is latest available under firmware).

@armaan_99 There are 2 ports (1GE & 1 FE) on the ONU and I have tried with both, still the C6 is taking long for PPPoE connection establishment. Currently, I have changed the ONU to Router Mode and using Dynamic IP in C6, which introduces double NAT and is not recommended, but still gets connected way faster. Couldn't yet figure out what is the cause for issue in PPPoE connection in C6 :( :(
