TP-Link Archer C6 PPOE issue with BSNL FTTH

I have just received the much awaited C6 from Amazon.
But it got a wired issue.
I have set the dumb ONT into transparent bridge mode and router usually work great after setting up my BSNL FTTH profile.

But,as soon as their is a LOS,the C6 won't initiate auto-connect.I have to go to the management page and click on connect.
It seems that I am missing something.Can I hope to get some help as it has got very frustrating since signal drop is common at my place,albeit for 2 minutes every 5 hours.

Using C6 in bridge mode with Syrotech ONU and facing no issues, did you check changing the Firewall from high to low (only for checking purpose)

Yes, have tried that as well in the ONU (firewall to low and anti-attack to off), but still same issue. Not sure, if there is some issue with the C6 router that I received.

I have changed the ONU to Router Mode

If you are using your ont in router mode better don't use the wan of archer c6 use the other lan ports and assign some ip with same subnet to c6 it will solve the double nat issue.

Try copping mac address of onu on the router and see if that works

I have already tried cloning the MAC address of ONU to Router, but then it lost the entire connectivity from ONU to Router, since the cloned Mac address matched the Mac address of the ONU and then I had to reset to default MAC and take a complete restart of both devices to get back the connectivity.

Ok,i tried almost everything to make the connection time speed up.But it sucks man...
It does not connect.
The ONT connects instantly.
@varkey any idea about solution.
I cannot use vlan tagging in ONT as it does not persist.So,i have to use iptv/vlan on archer c6.
I would really appreciate faster connection time.

My c6 is running on stock fw. pppoe
seems stable as per the ripe atlas.

I am facing this right now with my Archer C6 v4. It doesn't reconnect after LOS, you have to login and manually disconnect and reconnect.

Check the detect online interval setting on your router. Mine is set to 10 and it connects automatically is soon as PON gets green.

Even when the LOS blinks red my router keeps sending padt and padi back to back so the moment pon goes green padt and padi proceeds further.
