TR-069 is very unresponsive

Hey guys,

I ran into a issue with my Nokia a few days ago and since it was unlocked, I had to lock it again. I also decided to factory reset it after locking, to have a fresh start.

Usually, after a factory reset, TR-069 pushes out your router config/wan profiles in a matter of minutes and you'd be up and running within 10 minutes max.

But on my particular Nokia, TR-069 is very very unresponsive and takes over 12 - 24 hours to just push configs and wan profiles.

I have, much to the annoyance of my family, factory reset my router multiple times to check if it can reproduced and every single time, it took a long time to push the configs. Even when the wan profiles are pushed, the VOIP profiles and settings aren't being pushed and currently the VOIP lines are down. CC is absolutely unaware of what to do and they say they can't push the configs remotely to our router too.

Any help on how to activate the VOIP lines and maybe fix TR-069 while at it?

@TJ10 ask them to replace the router with a new one. Also check the PON strength (TX and RX) at the status page.

But the current router does not have any other performance/functional issues. Do I really have to pursue for a new router?

What should the proper values be?

you are literally the 1st person I have seen who is complaining that he needs to lock his router and his TR069 is slow and not working generally people unlock and try every other way so their router is free from TR 069

I'm not complaining about locking my router lol

My router's VOIP connection have not been working for a few days and it's usually TR-069's job to sort it out - pushing new configs and changes if there were any. And TR-069 hasn't done that yet. Better yet, it takes it own sweet time to push the proper WAN config which is extremely odd behavior.

I'll still be unlocking once the new configs are pushed.

I have a backup of it with the old configs. Plus my router updated @tr1k0N4 so I can't upload the config file too

Nope, the router is running the new locked firmware. It has no config backup/restore page

If I recall correctly, weren't you on the JIJ54 firmware last time around?
