Best is - avoid watching the nonsense channels to the extent possible. If it becomes the general voice of TV viewers that "We will watch content with less or no ads", then the channels will have to eventually modify their arrogant attitude. I am now phasing out my viewing of even Star Gold HD. Just pathetic to see ads every 10 minutes. And the SOBs think that the viewer doesnt realise the actual time ads are being aired. When the ad break starts, they first give 6-7 long ads & then a timer of 1 minute & 15-20 seconds starts. Effectively its around 3 minutes of nonsense every 10 minutes. I now watch channels like Discovery HD/Nat Geo HD/Discovery Science, and off late MTunes HD.

They loose me everytime they show an ad... Whenever I get an ad , I switch the channel... I would rather miss some part of a program than watch an ad..I may or may not return back to viewing that programme... Works for me .. Its my way of getting back at the losers 
Of i forgot to mention , They even moved beyond the circle of channels to places like

& "Menu info" in DTH

We had a little conversation and the usual stuff was repeated like we will look into our A### and will report to concerned Dou%%^ B@^^ .. nothing happened !!
One thing though , now instead of Minute maid , some other ad is running.
Until there is a critical mass reached which object certain activity by corporates , nothing will happen till then , as there is huge monetary gain involved .

Thats nonsense! Thankfully D2h is not into this stuff. Now suddenly i feel they are angels!@ Sabir....I do exactly the same - the moment i am hit with an ad, i get out of that channel. I didnt mention it here coz i thought again the same point will come up - does it matter if u switch the channel for a few minutes or for that matter for those few hours? After all, its the selected few TVs that are taken into account for TRPs, or whatever. Its only when the collective feedback from a wide base of viewers goes, it can matter to some extent!Thats why we can can keep pushing TRAI to fight for these amendments by giving them the feedback thru the form which Naveen has shared.

was watching Movies now kept showing ads after ads after just few min of movie time finally I got tired and just closed it......I dont think so anyone is following Trai regulations.
