All , one question on BSNL FTTH. Is it possible to connect a normal landline phone directly into RJ 11 port of the modem or does that need a VOIP phone ?

I have Fabre basic plus plan. currently i am using only internet through router. this plan has unlimited calling option also but i don't have land line phone. can any one suggest which land line will support for wifi calling.

Use any old spare landline telephone lying around in your house or your friends/relatives houses. BSNL offers SIP calling facility bundled with Internet or standalone over their FTTH services. You just need a modem router with RJ11 FXO port.

The term wifi calling is meant generally for carrier-enabled calling which happens automatically in smartphones with VoWIFI.
